One night after an amazing concert at the Hammersmith Odeon, a host of late-seventies musical acts were set upon by a guerilla crew of what we would today call "sex terrorists". The Psychedelic Furs played along with Squeeze, the Clash and the Knack. The Cure and members of Joy Division appeared together. For the finale, everyone took the stage together for a version of Van Morrison's "Gloria", led by Blondie's Debbie Harry. Meanwhile, the terrorists, armed with a small vial of Spanish fly, crept out from betwixt the varied gift-baskets backstage, did their business, and just as stealthily disappeared into the night. When the performers met up after the show and began to partake of the sparkling, non-alcoholic punch strange and uncontrollable urges gripped them. That night the hot, greasy pile of bodies became one, but it should be noted that Debbie was certainly the most popular person. A few weeks later, Ms. Harry found out that she was pregnant. Who was the father?! All of them. This blessed child she named Lee. The terrorists were apprehended in the late nineties while plotting a similar attack at Ozzfest. Lee visits them occasionally in jail.
